January starts a busy time for all Judo competitors on the East Coast of the US not to mention the rest of the US. We have plenty of tournament action going on from Boston all the way down to Maryland before the US Senior Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC in the beginning of May, 2010. North Jersey Judo is proud to host its First Annual Garden State Judo Classic on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Boys and Girls Club of Lodi, Inc. in Lodi, NJ. Tournament will be sanctioned by the United States Judo Federation. Tournament competition areas will be fitted with Zebra Tatami Mats so competitors can rest easy knowing they are competing on a high quality surface. Below you will find important information concerning this tournament. I wish all competitors best of luck at the Garden State Judo Classic and all competitions going on throughout the year. Awards: All competitors in divisions 10 years old and under will receive an award for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. All other divisions awards for 1st, 2nd and 2 – 3rd places. VENDORS: Tournament T-shirts and Judo Unlimited Judo Gis will be on display for sale. FOOD: Will be provided by Boys & Girls Club of Lodi, Inc. available at the tournament site.
